Denver Building Code is changing
The newly adopted Denver Building Code and amendments will go into effect on August 4, 2008. Denver has been on the 2003 International Codes with 2004 Amendments and will be going to the 2006 International Codes with 2008 Amendments.
The change in building codes will be important for new projects but in most cases it is similar enough that projects won't need to change in order to accommodate it. We've seen this one coming and have prepared.
There are ways to get waivers if a project in process needs to be reviewed under the old codes. More info on the Denver website.
