Archived Historic Denver Building Codes

While researching code regulations for a structure that we are remodeling, I came across the page holding all of the adopted building codes and amendments for the City and County of Denver. They date as far back as 1881 and are certainly an entertaining read. The oldest codes are primarily about structure, fire and the process and cost of permitting and inspection. Prior to the 1991 building code, all of the codes were written specifically for Denver. Starting with the 1991 code, they switched to making amendments of standard building codes.
