The Denver City Council passed the new zoning code on June 21, 2010 with a unanimous 13-0 vote.

For projects that are new construction, additions and change of use it is more important than ever to do a thurough review of the zoning code early in the process. The last we've heard there is a six month "grace period" allowing the use of either code. Therefore it is a wise choice to submit any projects that utilize the existing zoning by late November or the first week in December 2010.
