Denver is currently changing its zoning code from the version adopted in 1956.

One of the major components is the 2002 plan called Blueprint Denver. This document divided Denver into areas of stability and areas of change.

The other major change is going to a form based code. This means that building form will now be emphasized over building use.

Property owners in Denver who may be a couple years out on developing their properties would be wise to spend a little time looking through the proposed changes and seeing what it will mean for their property.
