I've noticed several architects lately advertising that they do free consultations and I decided that I should clarify what we do at EVS. If you want to talk about a new project, please give us a call, we won't charge you for that time. In addition we're happy to sit down with you and go through some of the initial programming to help you make sure that the project makes sense and what a reasonable scope and fee might be.

If your scope and therefore fee are relatively easy to tie down we can sign a contract with a fixed fee. If you need help that is either ongoing, more about determining feasibility or very difficult to scope then we can also look at hourly fees. We also have some projects where the fee is a combination of the two approaches.

We would like to encourage you to call EVstudio as early in the process as you feel comfortable. While we are licensed as architects, we have a large amount of experience in real estate, planning, site selection, construction, even financial analysis. We've helped clients with all of these in the past and can bring that experience to your project. If you involve us earlier in the process we can better steer your project toward the desired outcome.
