Jefferson County Height Restriction
Jefferson County, Colorado has changed the way that they look at building height effective May 20th, 2008. This is the first change in this definition since 2002. Its a little hard to explain so hopefully I'm allowed to post this graphic from the Zoning Resolution.
This particular definition is fairly unique and illustrates why we review the zoning and building regulations on each new project even where we are very experienced working in the municipality.
Up until a year ago my wife was responsible for updating the Jeffco Zoning Resolution, now I have to hunt for changes like everyone else.
