We recently designed a new layout for a small Denver bakery. It is one of the smallest food service projects that EVstudio has designed. The space is 510 square feet squeezed into a compact 15’ x 34’ rectangle. While there was no wall re-configuration, the challenge was to come up with the best solution for equipment layout while complying with code.

The client provided us a list of existing equipment they intended on keeping in the new space as well as new equipment they were going to purchase. We came up with a simple yet very practical layout while adding only one wall for a new hand sink in the kitchen area. We also angled the front service area to provide more room for the consultation table and to create a more open feel to the small space.

The facelift of the former BMC Building in Bergen Park is beginning to take shape and will soon completely transform the building into the new Evergreen Mercantile. EVstudio designed the exterior facade remodel and engineered new storefront openings in the existing double "T" wall construction. The new windows have been installed on the second level and the roof framing is almost complete. The structural concrete double "T" construction can still be seen beyond the new roof structure but will soon disappear behind the new storefronts on the new front facade of the building.

EVstudio is currently working on the Tenant Improvement plans for the building as well.
